Hi from a newly recent Salvia user, I first heard about Salvia divinorum on a news story on the Comcast channel back in October, barely a month ago. I checked up the subject on the Internet, particularly www.sagewisdom.org, your site, and Just say Once to Salvia. This last site is good because it has a guestbook wherein posters can ask questions or give a description of their last trip. Shortly after my research, I went to the local head shop and bought a gram of 10X. I was very cautious about smoking this herb; I had read warnings about how INTENSE the effects could be. The first two times I smoked only enough to get pleasantly "high". At one point I could see the beginnings of ribbons of neon pink coming out of the light bulb nearby. The thirrd time, I took an extra big hit, being careful to keep the flame of my lighter going the entire time I inhaled. I held it deeply for at least twenty seconds and exhaled SLOWLY. I went into a trance before I let my breath out. I saw red ribbons of light, very vivd, coming off my computer monitor over my head and into the next room. I had the feeling that my mind had left my body. These hallucinations lasted for a max of five minutes, then fade away quickly. My feeling of the experience, to use a trite phrase, "WOW!". I've taken a total of five trips in this past month, from 10X to 40X. I've recently ordered 100X and am looking forward to it. I enjoy this herb, and also RESPECT it. It is quite powerful ! Use it responsibly.
