First time
by Joeah
30X I tried salvia for the first time last night and it was unlike anything i've ever experienced before. I started out the night with 2 or 3 beers and a couple of bong hits of some decent marijuana. Then someone suggested trying salvia. I have never used a hallucinogen before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. My friend sat me on the floor with an ice-cooled pipe, and told me to inhale deeply and hold for as long as i could. I held for around 20 seconds and waited to cough, but it never happened. The next thing i remember is the room melting together and being blown away as if there were wind. There wasn't a floor or a ceiling, everything just blended together in a brown mass. I didn't realize that i was hallucinating and started to panic. I felt like i was trapped in a strange dream. I couldn't talk or move.
After a minute or so, i started to recognize the room and see faces, but couldn't understand what they were saying. Everything was purple and yellow and felt very cartoonish, but oddly familiar as though I had dreamed it before. I vaguely remember a toaster, but don't know what it meant. I started to get dizzy looking at the walls so I looked down to the floor and fell into a city beneath me. I was walking around in a futuristic brown and maroon metropolis with glowing lights. There were people around me, I started to panic again and looked back toward the walls, but kept looking at my feet and falling back in. As i started to come to, it felt more like i was sitting on top of the city, or floating around it it, then it disappeared.
Cartoons began to appear in the wood grain. It was a rabbit running, as it ran it's body elongated and got became cat like in appearance, dust clouds were behind it along with a fox, a raccoon, and I think a dog. I would look away and look back and cartoon would start over again, with more detail the longer i stared but exactly the same every time i looked. It started to disappear as well and i started to sober up, but i began laughing uncontrollably.
The entire experience lasted about 20 minutes and was over almost abruptly. I was disoriented for a while, but then realized that i was no longer hallucinating and was just high. I was able to speak for most of the trip, except for the beginning when i was grunting. I did have an "accident", though i didn't drool or sweat like other people reported. The next morning I woke up at 8:30am and felt very calm and in tune with everything. This feeling only last for a while, then i fell asleep again. I would most definitely do it again.
